Future Playground 2025: Exploring the Digital Future


Collabox Creative Hub, in collaboration with BINUS Online, successfully hosted Future Playground Semarang 2025 on November 1, 2025, at Collabox Creative Hub, Semarang.


The event invited participants to explore the future of careers, artificial intelligence (AI), and the digital economy, all presented through interactive talk shows, creative challenges, and an immersive world experience designed to spark inspiration and collaboration.


Through Future Playground, Collabox reaffirms its role as a driver of the creative and digital ecosystem in Central Java.


More than 120 participants attended the event in person, engaging in a vibrant atmosphere filled with creative energy and forward-thinking discussions. With beats by DJ RUWS and culinary tenants The Aurelia’s Tavern and Takoyaki-Q, the venue came alive from morning to evening.

Borderless World: Work from Anywhere, Create for Everyone.


In Borderless World, geographical boundaries are no longer relevant. Participants learned how digitalization unlocks global collaboration, creativity, and career opportunities.


Talkshow

Led by Deny Salvana Ervan, Chapter Manager of Google Developer Groups Semarang, the session explored:

  • Essential skills for competing in the global digital workforce.

  • Collaboration across borders and digital communities.

  • Leveraging technology to manage remote teams and international projects.


Challenge

Participants took on the role of global creators, tasked with developing original cross-country startup ideas under one big question: "If the world has no borders, how would your idea connect people?"

AI-Tizens World: When AI Works, Humans Create.


This world focused on how AI becomes a human collaborator, not a replacement. Participants explored the role of artificial intelligence in future careers and learned how to collaborate creatively with machines.


Talkshow

Hosted by Rizqi Mulyantara HS., CEO of DigiTiket and AI practitioner, the discussion included:

  • The transformation of the global digital economy.

  • Financial inclusion and equality in the cashless era.

  • Data security and trust in digital transactions.


Challenge

Participants created “Future Career Cards” that combined human and AI roles, from AI Therapist to Virtual Mentor and Digital Artist Curator.

Neo-Business World: When Minds Innovate, AI Empowers.


In Neo-Business World, participants explored how human creativity and AI can collaborate to build smarter, more adaptive, and sustainable businesses.

Presented by Dr. Yuniarty, S.E., M.M.S.I., Deputy Head of Department Business Management, BINUS Online, covering:

  • How ideas and technology drive the entrepreneurs of the future.

  • Using AI and market research for business innovation.

  • Fostering data-driven, research-based entrepreneurship.


Challenge

Participants acted as future entrepreneurs, creating business ideas that blended creativity, data, and AI to solve real-world problems.

Showcase & Awards


As the highlight of Future Playground 2025, teams from Borderless, AI-Tizens, and Neo-Business Worlds presented their final projects in a Showcase & Voting Session. The audience and judges selected the most innovative, impactful, and forward-looking ideas to receive special recognition.


This moment marked the culmination of the festival, where technology, creativity, and collaboration merged to bring new ideas to life and shape the future of the digital world.
