THE EMPU COMMUNITY CELEBRATES CHINESE NEW YEAR 2023 WITH AN ECO-FRIENDLY FASHION SHOW

(Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 10:00 a.m. WIB) In celebration of the 2023 Lunar New Year, the EMPU Community will host an “Eco-Friendly Fashion Show” on the balcony of Quest Hotel Simpang Lima in Semarang. The EMPU Community is collaborating with Collabox Creative Hub and Quest Hotel Semarang for this event.
This fashion show will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (WIB) on the balcony of the Quest Hotel Semarang, featuring eco-friendly clothing modeled by 10 models from Denok Kenang Semarang and professional models.
They will showcase works by traditional and eco-friendly textile artisans from various regions in Indonesia, such as Semarang, Ungaran, Yogyakarta, Temanggung, Lombok (NTB), Sabu Island, and East Sumba (NTT).
This event was organized by the Empu Community to celebrate the 2023 Lunar New Year, with the aim of reviving Indonesian art and culture and reminding the public of the importance of protecting the earth through environmentally friendly development.
